About The Taxidermist: (Erin Howard - Silcox)
A Nebraska native, turned Utah transplant, wildlife and art have always been my passion. After a degree in Land Use Economics, I decided I couldn’t spend my life behind a computer; I had to work with my hands.
I attended the Northwest Iowa School of Taxidermy and the rest was history. I am forever grateful for the opportunities that led to the start of my taxidermy business in 2020.
I am an avid angler, with my favorites to fish for being muskie, and tiger trout. The peace of being connected to nature is what fuels my passion and my work. My obession with the outdoors has led me to hunting which only furthers my respect for nature and harvesting my own food.
I believe that every animal harvested is a trophy in its own right, and therefore, deserves the time and attention needed to make the taxidermy do the animal justice. I am not wired to cut corners, and care deeply about my clients and their animals.
